Levitra (Vardenafil)
Clinical Use
Levitra is used to treat impotence (erectile dysfunction). Levitra should be taken orally about an hour before coming sexual act.
Drug effect
After one hour after taking the medicine Levitra relaxes muscles and increases blood flow to particular areas of the body. This affects man’s ability to perform sex. Sexual stimulation is somehow needed for an erection to occur. Do not take Levitra more than one time per day.
Drug storage
Levitra should be stored at 25 degrees C (77 degrees F). Excursions permitted to 15-30 degrees C (59-86 degrees F). Please store drug out of the reach of the children.
Known Side Effects
There are following side effects known to date:
- difficulty breathing; swelling of the lips, tongue, or hives; closing of the throat; (those are allergic reactions)
- breath shortness;
- swelling in the legs, hands or ankles;
- irregular heartbeat;
- dizziness, nausea, or angina (pain, discomfort, tightness, or tingling in the chest, arms, neck, or jaw).
- prolonged or severe dizziness;
- a prolonged or painful erection;
If any of those side effects occur please stop using the drug and notify your doctor immediately or seek for emergency medical attention.
There are less serious known side effects below:
- blue tint in vision and other vision abnormalities;
- hyperemia;
- stuffy nose;
- mild dizziness;
- headache;
- diarrhea;
If any of this occurs it’s not necessary to stop using the drug but it is very important to notify doctor about it.
